Quickcare Pet Insurance Plans (USA and Canada)
Types of Pets Insured: Cats, Dogs
Discounts Available?:
- 3 or more pets on the same plan is a 5-10% discount
- Discounts available for microchipped pets
- 10% discount for medical service pets also available.
Age Restrictions?: Some programs do have age limits, there are separate plans available for senior pets.
Plans For Cats: 4 levels of plans/premiums for Canadian
residents, 6 levels in the USA. Plans range from basic accident/illness
to comprehensive accident/illness (except pre-existing conditions).
Special plans available for indoor cats or senior cats! Deductibles
vary by age of pet/plan level.

Petsecure Pet Insurance Plans (Canada only)
Types of Pets Insured: Cats, Dogs
Discounts Available?:
- 3 or more pets on the same plan is a 10% discount
- 15% discount for 6 or more pets.
Age Restrictions?: No age restrictions, however dogs over 8 and cats over 10 may be asked for medical records.
Plans For Cats: There are 4 levels of coverage for cats. All
levels provide some coverage for dental care and alternative therapies
(acupuncture, homeopathic treatment). The levels vary depending on your
choice of accident/illness coverage that you wish.
Level 4 includes preventative care (annual exam, bloodwork, urinalysis, etc.).
Deductibles vary, you can choose the deductible you like from 3 levels.

PC Financial Pet Insurance Plans (Canada only)
Types of Pets Insured: Cats, Dogs
Discounts Available?:
- 3 or more pets on the same plan is a 10% discount
- 15% discount for 6 or more.
Age Restrictions?:Coverage can begin at 8 weeks, no age restriction.
Plans For Cats: There are 4 levels of coverage for cats,
accident-only or 3 levels of accident + illness. Some plans will cover
alternative therapies. Does not cover routine vet visits. Note: if
you decide to change coverage levels, you must re-apply. 20% co-pay
with all plans.
Free extras included are: Emergency boarding fees of $25/day (up
to $500 limit) if you are hospitalized for more than 2 days. Pet
travel: if you are traveling with your pet in Canada or the continental
USA, emergency vet treatment is covered according to your chosen plan
type.

Virgin Money Pet Insurance Plans (UK)
Types of Pets Insured: Cats, Dogs
Discounts Available?:
- 15% off for more than one pet
- additional 10 % off if ordered online or if you have car, home, or annual travel insurance through Virgin Money.
Age Restrictions?: Cats: 8 weeks to 11 years for application, no age restriction for coverage once begun.
Plans For Cats: There are 3 levels of coverage for cats,
accident-only or 2 levels of accident + illness. Some
complimentary/alternative therapies covered if performed by a vet. Does
not cover routine vet visits/pre-existing conditions. Flat fee
deductible; 20% co-pay with all plans if your cat is age 7 or more.
Free extras included are: Pet Help Lines are included with all
levels of coverage. There is a find-a-vet line (new to area, find
treatments your vet does not offer, away from home), pet legal advice
line, and Bereavement counseling line.
Optional upgrades:
- Emergency boarding fees (up to 500 Pound limit) if you are hospitalized for more than 4 days.
- Pet travel (trips under 30 days): if you are traveling overseas with
your pet this option covers emergency vet treatment, quarantine costs,
tick/worming treatments, and loss of pet passport. Check policy for
coverage limits.
- 3rd party insurance coverage up to 1 million Pounds if your dog causes property damage or injury.
